Barrett found this little gem through Kickstarter (a funding platform for artists, designers, filmmakers, musicians, journalists, inventors, explorers...) After sharing it with the boy, I have to say, it's a refreshing little online game that I don't mind that he plays. I actually really like it. Tinkatolli is full of imagination and creativity. The site encourages kids to participate both online and offline. Once you create or do an activity offline, you can enter it in your journal, earn badges and points to further your tinka to next levels. They even disrupt your game to make you move if you've been playing too long. Now that's refreshing.
